This policy describes how Strickland Automotive handles information provided through strickland.us, our customer portal, appointments, repair services and customer communications.
We collect information you provide, including your name, contact details, mobile number, vehicle information, appointment requests, repair concerns, estimates, approvals and service history. Our communication records may include texts, attachments, timestamps, delivery status and your messaging preferences or consent. Website and portal activity may also generate technical information such as IP addresses and session records.
We use information to schedule appointments, service your vehicle, provide estimates and repair-order links, request repair approvals, communicate repair progress and pickup information, maintain service records, support customers and protect our systems. When applicable, we use relevant information to process payments and coordinate warranty claims.
Our SMS program provides service-related communications such as appointment information, repair-order links, estimates for approval, repair updates and pickup notifications. Customers may opt in by giving verbal permission during scheduling or vehicle check-in, selecting an explicit SMS consent option in the customer portal, or texting our messaging number to request service updates. Providing a phone number alone does not authorize recurring texts. Consent to texting is optional and is not a condition of purchasing services.
Message frequency varies based on your appointment, repair activity and communication requests. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a text to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the information below. Opting out of texts does not cancel your repair order or appointment.
We do not sell mobile phone numbers or text messaging opt-in data. We do not share mobile information or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Our business data-sharing is limited to CARFAX, RepairPal, warranty companies and our credit-card processing company. Relevant information is shared for vehicle service-history reporting, repair-service coordination, warranty claims or payment processing, as applicable. We do not share SMS opt-in consent with these companies for marketing or promotional purposes.
Twilio and telecommunications carriers process the mobile number, message content and delivery information necessary to transmit our customer texts. This processing is for message delivery on our behalf; it does not permit them to use your SMS consent for their own marketing. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Our website and customer portal may use cookies or similar session tools for functions such as signing in and maintaining your session. You can manage cookies through your browser; disabling them may affect portal functionality. Keep your login details and private repair-order links secure.
We use safeguards intended to protect customer information. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. We retain information as needed to provide services, maintain repair and communication records, honor messaging preferences and meet applicable legal or business recordkeeping obligations.
You may contact us to request access to or correction of your customer information, ask about deletion, or update communication preferences. We may need to verify your identity and retain records required for service, legal or recordkeeping purposes. You can stop SMS messages by replying STOP to the messaging number that contacted you.
We may update this policy as our services or practices change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. New message categories requiring additional consent will not be authorized merely by updating this policy.
